Rope rescue is the back bone for all technical rescue operations.

TTS can give you the training that your team needs. For

Basic Rope Rescue is a two day, 16 hour class designed to provide participants with the skills to perform basic rope rescues.

Program content includes fundamental rope theory, introduction to hardware, basic knots, rigging and anchors, Friction devices for lowering systems, mechanical advantage systems for raising, rescuer and victim harnesses and packaging systems, belay lines etc.

Students will participate in scenario based rescues to reinforce the skills developed in class.

Students who complete our Basic Rope Rescue Training can progresss to the following:
